SUNY Chancellor joins Empire State Service Corps members to combat food insecurity

ALBANY, N.Y. — State University of New York Chancellor John B. King Jr. recently joined members of SUNY's Empire State Service Corps from throughout the Capital Region at the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York to prepare meal kits to support New Yorkers struggling with food insecurity. Students participating in SUNY's Empire State Service Corps, New York State's largest AmeriCorps program, dedicate at least 300 hours to engaging in paid community service and convene regularly to share and learn from each other's experiences.
