CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. — Record-setting middle-distance racing highlighted the boys competition at the Section 2 state qualifier meet, where athletes across Classes A, B and C secured berths to the New York State Public High School Athletic Association championships, on Wednesday at Shenendehowa High School. Saratoga Springs junior Levi Layden delivered the performance of the day, breaking a long-standing Section 2 record in the Class A 800-meter run.
