GLENS FALLS, N.Y. — Barry Melrose spent much of his hockey career moving between the ice, the bench and the television studio, but his connection to Glens Falls remained a constant. Melrose, who played more than 200 games for the Adirondack Red Wings and later coached the team to a Calder Cup championship, has died at age 70.
