It's time for a Green New Deal for Public Schools

Hi Ashley, It's time for a Green New Deal for Public Schools — for every student and educator, in every school in our communities across the country. Jamaal Bowman, that would would allocate federal dollars towards funding green retrofits at every K-12 public school facility in America, hiring and training more teachers, increasing funding for low-income and disability-focused federal programs, and so much more. As a nation, we need to prioritize long term investment for our students and address educational and environmental injustice, starting with the schools in Black and Brown communities that have been underserved for decades.
