It isn't too late to join us for our ninth annual Champions of Education celebration to honor some of the individuals and organizations who have gone above and beyond in their dedication to ensuring that all students have access to a quality education.     We are so excited to be celebrating the honorees for AQE's ninth annual Champions of Education celebration: Grassroots Leadership Award Kaliris Salas-Ramirez Neuroscientist, parent leader, and organizer Education Justice Marathon Award Johanna Garcia Parent, community leader, activist and Chief of Staff to Senator Robert Jackson Joy in Movement Award Resistance Revival Chorus This year we have so much to celebrate together, especially New York State's historic commitment to fully fund public schools — a win made possible by the generations of parents, community leaders and students who, year after year, have led the advocacy to hold New York to the promise of a "sound basic education" for every child.   You can still reserve your spot on the guest list to join us for this virtual celebration of our honorees, and all our collective work that went into making this historic and transformational win of this year possible for New York's students.
