Tomorrow: Celebrate our Champions of Education with AQE

AQE's Champions of Education

October 5, 2023  at 5:30 PM

In-person at the Manny Cantor Center

197 E Broadway

New York City

Hi Ashley,

We're just ONE DAY away from the BIGGEST night of AQE's year!

September brought a major win for public education: full funding for all New York schools as they kicked off the academic year. But, our work is far from over. Disparities between school districts are still shifting and evolving, and we're not backing down!

It isn't too late to join us at this year's Champions of Education celebration, tomorrow, October 5, from 5:30 to 8:30pm ET at the Manny Cantor Center in New York City. It's your chance to show some support to the incredible champions of education who have gone above and beyond for New York's students.

Will you join us? We're thrilled to celebrate these outstanding advocates as we come together to commemorate this historic milestone and anticipate lasting, meaningful change in the lives of all New York students and their families.

Our Honorees

  • Congressman Jamaal Bowman, New York's 16th Congressional District
  • Dr. Marian Bott, Education Finance Specialist at the NYS League of Women Voters
  • Dr. John H. Jackson, President of the Schott Foundation & Cassie Schwerner, Executive Director of the Morningside Center
  • Kimberly Tyre, New York City Parent

And a very special thanks to our event co-chairs and our host committee, listed below.

In addition to all this, we've got an exciting raffle happening that night! Imagine winning signed merchandise, deluxe swag bags, and impressive custom design work. You can join in by bringing some cash or making an online donation.

We hope to see you there!
