For the past six weeks, New Yorkers have been in dire need of a voice in leadership who would let us know they are fighting for us, instead of letting us live in fear because of their deafening silence. Children have missed school, families are avoiding hospitals, businesses have closed their doors - all because of the Trump administration's ruthless and dehumanizing policies, and rhetoric.
We are fortunate to have a leader in our state who is doing the work to save our democracy and is willing to speak the truth, not just with words, but with action.
New York Attorney General Letitia James and her team are standing up for democracy and using the power of her office to safeguard our rights and protect New Yorkers.

From fighting unjust executive orders to defending the rights of immigrants, women, and so many others, they are proving that leadership means identifying your powers and taking action. They remind us that no executive order can erase the rule of law - and that we still have three branches of government holding the line.
Let's take a moment to say thank you. Their work is making a real difference in keeping us safe, and it's important they know we see and appreciate them.
In solidarity,
