BUFFALO, N.Y. — Glenville native Tommy Bleyl’s dream became reality Friday night when the 18-year-old defenseman was selected No. 31 overall by the Nashville Predators in the first round of the NHL Draft. Bleyl, who played for Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake/Ballston Spa during the 2022-23 season, was chosen after Nashville traded with the Carolina Hurricanes to acquire the pick. Q. We recently had our 2019 VW Beetle in for service and were told the lower engine cover was hanging and needs to be replaced at a cost of $585. Three puppies came bounding into the meeting room, pinging around its four corners with carefree joy and boneless energy. They paid us no mind as we sat “criss-cross apple sauce” on the floor in a circle.
