Nature Bus starts fifth year on Saturday

ALBANY, N.Y. — The Nature Bus will kick off its fifth year of service in Albany on Saturday, May 24, the CDTA and the Mohawk Hudson Land Conservancy (MHLC) announced in a press release. This collaborative project with the MHLC and the CDTA has connected thousands of people to natural places in and around Albany, the release said. The complimentary service will run for 20 Saturdays this season through Oct. 4. LOCAL: Firecracker four-mile set to kick off July 4 celebrations in Saratoga Springs

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. — Registration is officially open for the Firecracker 4 road race, held on July 4 in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. The event is popular among runners and walkers; those interested can sign up at firecracker4.com. This year, organizers of the four-mile race are also offering a free nine-session running program leading up to race day.
