SCHUYLERVILLE, N.Y.  — This past weekend, an annual event that draws crowds and laughter took place at Fort Hardy Park Beach, or maybe better put, in the Hudson River, as the 19th Annual Cardboard Boat Races Festival challenged participants to build seafaring floats they could navigate in several races. Clifton Park man charged with rape following child endangerment investigation

CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. — State Police of Saratoga arrested Corey Brierley, 32 of Clifton Park on July 31 for Rape in the third degree, Sexual Abuse in the third degree, Criminal Sale of Cannabis in the third degree, and two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Earlier on July 22, law enforcement received information that child had received cannabis from an adult man. The investigation determined that Brierley met with juveniles the evening before in Stillwater, during which Brierley allegedly provided and smoked Cannabis with one of the juveniles.
