Gas prices dip in Capital Region

CAPITAL REGION, N.Y. — Average gasoline prices in the area have fallen 1.6 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.13 a gallon, according to GasBuddy's survey of 546 stations in Albany. Prices in the region are 7.4 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and stand 6.5 cents per gallon lower than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has decreased 3.5 cents compared to a week ago and stands at $3.628 per gallon.
