Leading Change, making only his third career start, surged past a determined Napoleon Solo in the final sixteenth of a mile to capture the $1.25 million Travers Stakes on Saturday at Saratoga Race Course. Ridden by Manny Franco and trained by Brad Cox, Leading Change covered the 1 1/4 miles in 2:02.98 and returned $22.76 to win.
