QUEENSBURY, N.Y. — In the Section 2 Class B final between the Mechanicville and Greenville high school boys' soccer teams, it was all Spartans, all the time, against the Red Raiders on Saturday at Queensbury High School. Greenville came out swinging on offense, striking first in the 11th minute. Senior midfielder Lucas Russell delivered a 30-yard bullet to junior forward Christopher Hughes on the attack. STILLWATER, N.Y. — The Saratoga Springs Blue Streaks (13-4-1) made program history Saturday evening, capturing their second successive Section 2 Class AAA girls soccer championship with a thrilling 1-0 double-overtime victory over rival Shenendehowa (12-3-1)  at Stillwater High School.
