BURNT HILLS, N.Y. — Strong performances in the sprints, jumps, and hurdles helped Saratoga Springs hold off Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake for a 73.5–65.5 victory in a Suburban Council boys outdoor track and field meet, cut short by a Tuesday evening thunderstorm. The Blue Streaks relied on depth across several events, while Burnt Hills delivered standout performances in the middle-distance races and the 400 meters to keep the meet close. BURNT HILLS, N.Y. — A balanced performance across the track and field events helped Saratoga Springs earn a narrow 69.5–62.5 victory over Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake in a Suburban Council girls outdoor track and field meet, cut short by a Tuesday evening thunderstorm. Both teams collected event wins throughout the afternoon, but Saratoga’s depth in the sprints, jumps, and throws proved decisive in the tight contest.
