More than two dozen arrested in major drug trafficking takedown in Capital Region/Hudson Valley

NEW YORK — New York Attorney General Letitia James announced the takedown of a major drug trafficking ring in the Capital Region and Hudson Valley that distributed large quantities of powder and crack cocaine, as well as heroin and fentanyl. According to a press release, an investigation led by the Office of the Attorney General’s (OAG) Organized Crime Task Force (OCTF) recovered more than five kilograms of cocaine and approximately 1.2 kilograms of heroin laced with fentanyl, which has a combined potential street value of approximately $350,000. NISKAYUNA, N.Y. — A tightly contested team race and several standout individual performances highlighted the boys competition at the Nisky Spring Classic, where Colonie emerged on top in a deep and talented field.
