COLONIE, N.Y. — The No. 3 Shenendehowa High School girls flag football team saw its season end in a defensive, heated, grinding 6-0 loss in their Class A sectional semifinal contest at No. 2 Colonie on Tuesday evening at Colonie Central High School. In the defensive stalemate, Jordyn Gurney, Kacee Horan, and Triniti Echols all recorded interceptions for Shen. Yet, Colonie’s Rhianna Walcott delivered for the Wolf Pack, amassing 110 total yards, three tackles, and the game’s lone touchdown.

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. — No. 4 Saratoga Springs used a balanced scoring attack and a strong surge to pull away from No. 5 Guilderland in a 14-8 victory on Tuesday. The offensive pace was led by Josslyn Gould and Jocelyn Hancock, who each finished with four goals.
