Spring Turkey Season Outlook

The regular spring turkey season opened May 1 statewide in all counties north of the Bronx-Westchester County boundary and Suffolk County on Long Island. Hunters must have a turkey hunting permit in addition to their hunting license. The season bag limit is two bearded turkeys, and hunting hours are one-half hour before sunrise to noon each day.
