Dear Ashley,   With the new year comes a new state budget, and this year New York has a real opportunity to transform child care for families in every region of the state.   We need to make clear to our elected officials in Albany that universal child care is a priority for New Yorkers statewide. Send an email now to Governor Hochul and your State Legislators today, urging them to support Child Care for All. Demand Universal Child Care NOW The roadmap we released as part of the Empire State Campaign for Child Care outlines a vision for child care for all in six years: a system built on strong, permanent support for the child care workforce; investment in vouchers to eliminate waitlists and ensure all eligible families can access care; and the implementation of two bridge projects to transition us to truly universal, statewide child care.
