Hi Ashley, The countdown to the budget deadline is on. The next 48 hours are critical for New York's public schools and our students' futures. In a normal year, we'd be at the Capitol around the clock to hold our elected officials accountable to prioritize the needs of our public school students — but as we all know, this is no normal year. And that makes your participation in these actions, from your own home or office, over the phone or online, more important than ever. We simply cannot do this — we cannot win for our students —without your help. Over the past 3 months we have had a dedicated team join us on Wednesday evenings for a text bank, contacting constituents to call their State Legislators and urge them to fight for our public schools in the State budget. Together, we've generated hundreds of thousands of texts and phone calls.   Join us for one last emergency response action during the final hours of state budget negotiations: tomorrow, Wednesday, March 31 at 4 PM.
