Hi Ashley,
One year into the pandemic, AQE is still on the front lines advocating for our students. We have fought for more federal resources for education. Now, our schools are expected to receive an additional $9 billion in aid from Washington. We are going to work to ensure that money gets to schools and students with the highest needs and strategic investments are made to ensure long terms success for Black, Latinx and low income students.
Donations from individuals like you fuel this work and so much more. Make a contribution to AQE now.
The funding that Congress approved this week will help districts to invest in technology, social and emotional supports for students and academic interventions to help students thrive. But there is a long road ahead of us.
Your contribution will support AQE as we fight for more equitable and just public schools for New York's Black, Latinx and low income students.
As we look back on the past 12 months, we want to say thank you.
AQE could not exist without the support of people like you. No matter what the future brings, we are so grateful to stand alongside you in this fight.
We look forward to working toward more equitable and just public schools for New York's students together.
In solidarity,
Jasmine Gripper
Alliance for Quality Education
