Gas prices dip in Capital Region

CAPITAL REGION, N.Y. — Average gasoline prices in the area have fallen 3.2 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.16 a gallon, according to GasBuddy's survey of 546 stations in Albany. Prices in the region are 5.8 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and stand 3.1 cents per gallon lower than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has decreased 1.3 cents compared to a week ago and stands at $3.652 per gallon.
