SIENA POLL: New Yorkers think country’s best economic days behind us

LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. — A plurality of New Yorkers, 47%, feel that our country’s best economic days are behind us and that the next generation will face a lower standard of living, while 45% say our country’s current problems are temporary and we will return to financial health, according to a poll by the Siena College Research Institute (SCRI). Fifty-two percent of New Yorkers are confident they will receive the money from Social Security promised by the United States Government, while 45% are not confident they will receive the benefit. Questions and answers from the 'Car Doctor'

Q. A few months ago, I had my 2020 Chevy Equinox at the dealer for an oil change. During this service they automatically rotate the tires and reprogram the tire pressure sensors. Last week the low tire pressure light came on, indicating the driver side front tire had only 17 lbs. of pressure. Upon checking that tire with my tire pressure sensor it indicated 35 lbs. It turned out the bad tire was actually the passenger side rear. I suspect two things. The mechanic cross rotated the tires and never reprogrammed the TPMS sensors.
