Amber Alert canceled after 9-year-old girl located deceased in Ticonderoga

LAKE GEORGE, N.Y. —Police canceled an Amber Alert that went out overnight Sunday after the 9-year-old girl was located deceased in Ticonderoga. On July 19, at approximately 9:58 p.m., Warren County 911 received a call from a man reporting his 9-year-old daughter missing, with a possible abduction, in the area of Exit 22 of I-87 in Lake George, New York. The child was identified as Melina Frattolin, age 9, and the caller as her father, Luciano Frattolin, age 45, both residents of Canada. SNAPSHOT: BOCES graduate's future shifted into high gear

A recent high school graduate spent his senior year not only learning at Capital Region BOCES, but also gaining real-world experience at Keeler Motor Car Company. Now, the graduate has shifted that experience into a career as he is working for the dealership as service technician. Berube worked Mondays and Tuesdays in Keeler's BMW service shop as part of the work-based learning (WBL)program at Capital Region BOCES.
